Personal service a priority
Three and a half years ago, when his sons started kindergarten and he no longer needed to be a full-time at-home parent, Realtor Mark Gilrain was ready to put his skills of buying, selling and analysis to work.
Today, he is with Halstead Property, where he tailors his approach to his clients' situations using a combination of personal service and the appropriate use of technology/ social media.
"I am a committed professional networker and use that network to find buyers... and to get the best information for my sellers about the market and what's going on week by week," Gilrain said.
In buying, he refers to himself as a direct negotiator who knows how to set context and find solutions. "The purchase process is very bureaucratic; guiding buyers through that process is one of the most important things I do," Gilrain said.
"For sellers, preparing appropriately for our market and pricing strategically are (my) strengths."
He serves Weston, Westport, Fairfield, and parts of Norwalk and said he loves the journey of helping clients take a home that they live in and making it ready so that it looks ready for its new owner-to-be.
In his spare time, this runner also enjoys going to church or the beach, and spending time at his kids' activites. He and his partner have twin 8-year-old sons. Gilrain graduated from Williams College with honors.
He is an Accredited Buyers Representative and seller Representative Specialist, and has earned the Halstead Silver Circle in 2013 and 2014, as well as the Halstead Strategy Star.
